CORESENSE at the ACM SIGSOFT Summer School

Last month, our partners Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and Delft University of Technology participated in the organizing committee and served as lecturers at the ACM SIGSOFT Summer School for Software Engineering in Robotics event in Brussels. The event aimed to bridge the knowledge gap in software engineering for robotics between academia and industry.

They presented some of the CORESENSE principles, exploring topics such as model-based system architecture and ROS2. Additionally, they collaborated with the CONVINCE sister project, which was also funded in the same call and shares commonalities in terms of scope: autonomous robots, deliberative cognitive capabilities, and a model-driven approach. As a result, both projects were represented in the ROS topic group on deliberation.
